Bottle time should stop when bedtime begins

Bottle time should stop when bedtime begins

It’s great to give your little one a bottle at bedtime, but leaving milk on their teeth overnight can lead to tooth decay.

To protect their precious smile, try to remove the bottle before they go to sleep.

To keep those little teeth healthy, make sure an adult always holds the bottle during feedings and removes it when finished.

Use only breast milk or suitable infant formula in the bottle, and never sweeten pacifiers or bottle teats with honey or sugary syrups.

Introduce a cup for drinking water at around 6 months. Encourage your toddler to drink water and milk from a cup from your child's first birthday to help protect their little teeth.

Next: If it's sugary or sweet, avoid it for teeth
